Ready to let go of what is holding you back and have the life you deserve?

Whitney Polich, Therapist

Do you remember a time when you felt as if you were truly unburdened and free? Trauma can make every aspect of life—from daily tasks to forming new relationships to achieving goals—feel nearly impossible. These painful experiences often pull us away from our purpose and create a deep sense of shame.

You’ve come to the right place.

Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Whitney, and I help individuals and couples understand how the past may be influencing their present, and how to build the value-driven, fulfilling life they deserve. Many people who have experienced trauma feel as if they simply cannot be helped. Perhaps you’ve tried traditional talk therapy and felt that it didn’t quite move the needle—because trauma lives in the body, not just the mind. While talk therapy can be valuable, it may only skim the surface, leaving you feeling isolated or hopeless.

By integrating EMDR, IFS, and somatic-focused approaches, I help clients develop greater awareness of the root causes of their pain while providing practical tools for lasting change.

First, we’ll explore how your past experiences may be contributing to current symptoms that prevent you from living a rich and peaceful life. Then, we’ll create a treatment plan specifically tailored to your unique values, goals, and needs—because therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Through our work together, you’ll cultivate a deeper sense of self-compassion, greater self-understanding, and skills to carry with you long after therapy ends.

My passion lies in helping clients create lasting, meaningful change that propels them toward their goals.

My training in trauma-informed, client-centered and culturally competent care provides the foundation and expertise you deserve while training and experience are important, true healing in therapy happens within the relationship between client and therapist. You deserve to work with someone who understands what it means to be ambitious, passionate person who feels held back by the weight of trauma.

As an LGBTQIA+ clinician who has personally experienced and healed from multiple forms of trauma, I’ve dedicated my career to creating a space for discovery, compassion, and transformation. I know what it feels like to feel broken or alone—to believe your past determines your future. When you work with me, you won’t get a clinician who simply nods and validates—you’ll work with someone who’s lived it, who gets it, and who will collaborate with you to find enduring peace and clarity.
